Small words BIG thought!!!

When you have the long term view, when you see the big picture, the stuff that happens in the middle doesn't really stress you out too much.

You don't hate yourself for not getting the perfect results you want right now.

You don't stress too much about the sacrifices you have to make right now.

Because you know it will all pay off in the long run.

Having that long term point of view - it "stretches" everything out to make it tolerable whereas having a very narrow point of view tends to explode everything in big proportion, the good AND the bad, right in front of you.
