Nice mng!!!

Hi all,
Gm..
Have a nice day ahead!!!

Something to Use!!!!

The copyright (©), trademark (™) and the registered (®) symbols are obligatorily required to protect the original source of any document or product. If it falls under a copyright act, it needs to be marked out as such. And if you are a person given such a task for any work that goes on the net, it helps to know these timesavers.

Inserting a copyright, registered or trademark symbol in Microsoft Word
In MS Word, these symbols can be inserted from the Insert – Symbol dropdown menu.

If the symbol is not there, click on More Symbols to see the huge list for each different font.
But to save time, applying the symbols with keystrokes is always better.

The shortcut keys are –
Ctrl+Alt+C=© (The Copyright Symbol) Alternatively, type an open parenthesis – type a c and close the parenthesis. MS Word automatically creates the symbol.
Ctrl+Alt+T=TM (The Trademark Symbol) Alternatively, type an open parenthesis – type tm and close the parenthesis. MS Word automatically creates the symbol.
Ctrl+Alt+R=® (The Registered Symbol) Alternatively, type an open parenthesis – type r and close the parenthesis. MS Word automatically creates the symbol.

Inserting a copyright, registered or trademark symbol in any Windows applications

In any Windows application like Notepad or Photoshop, the numeric keypad is used in combination with the Alt key. Activate the numeric keypad by pressing the NumLock key.
For the Copyright symbol (©) Hold the Alt key down and type 0169.
For the Trademark symbol (TM) Hold the Alt key down and type 0153.
For the Registered symbol (®) Hold the Alt key down and type 0174.

Inserting a copyright, registered or trademark symbol in HTML

In any HTML coding application, HTML symbols can be created using the same number combination in the source code but prefixed with &# and a semi-colon in the end.
© - © Alternatively, for copyright symbols, © can also be used.
™ - TM Alternatively, for trademark symbols, ™ can also be used.
® - ® Alternatively, for registered symbols, ® can also be used.

Viji.

small words BIG thought!!!

Reject rejection!

Remember the last time you felt the sting of rejection? It hurts, doesn't it? It might have been an unreturned phone call, an unanswered email, or an unkind comment. We often take it personally when we don't receive the kind words of appreciation we were expecting. However, ninety-nine percent of the time, it turns out that the person on the other end had no intention of hurting us. It's our own thinking that causes the problem. We become a prisoner of our own thoughts.

Before lashing out in response to rejection, make sure you have the facts straight. Most "rejections" turn out to have just been harmless talk, well-intentioned criticism, or a lack of response because of an email not getting through or an unintentional memory lapse. I learned this the hard way, mind you, but my strategy now is to wait a bit and let my frustration die down.

Then I assume the very best of the other person and try to find out what happened and where things stand between us. Only if the situation repeats itself do I consider moving away from the relationship - a rare event indeed. Is there something you're taking personally right now? Try rejecting rejection instead!

Luv,
Viji.

My Mother Taught Me

My Mother taught me LOGIC…“If you fall off that swing and break your neck, you can’t go to the store with me.”

My Mother taught me MEDICINE…“If you don’t stop crossing your eyes, they’re going to freeze that way.”

My Mother taught me TO THINK AHEAD…“If you don’t pass your spelling test, you’ll never get a good job!”

My Mother taught me ESP…“Put your sweater on; don’t you think that I know when you’re cold?”

My Mother taught me TO MEET A CHALLENGE…“What were you thinking? Answer me when I talk to you… Don’t talk back to me!”

My Mother taught me HUMOR…“When that lawn mower cuts off your toes, don’t come running to me.”

My Mother taught me how to BECOME AN ADULT…“If you don’t eat your vegetables, you’ll never grow up.”

My Mother taught me about GENETICS… “You are just like your father!”

My Mother taught me about my ROOTS…“Do you think you were born in a barn?”

My Mother taught me about the WISDOM of AGE…“When you get to be my age, you will understand.”

My Mother taught me about ANTICIPATION…“Just wait until your father gets home.”

My Mother taught me about RECEIVING…“You are going to get it when we get home.”
and my all time favorite thing–JUSTICE“One day you will have kids, and I hope they turn out just like YOU..then you’ll see what it’s like.”

In between all this, my Mother taught me how to Live! Thank you Mom for all I have learned these years.

Luv,
Viji.

Cool mng!!!

Hi all,

Gm..
Hv a fresh day ahead!!!

small words BIG thought!!!

Total listeningFor some of us, listening is the perfect time to plan what we're going to say next. We look them straight in the eyes, nod our head and appear to give them our undivided attention. We deserve an Academy Award for our acting. But as soon as they pause for breath, we start talking about our problems. Not nice, and it will backfire on us, because what we're really communicating is "I am not interested in your problems". Is this really something we want to communicate?
If we really care about others, we should listen to them with open ears and an open heart. By doing so we are silently saying, "What you have to say is important to me, because you are important to me." While I was working on this, I put my total listening idea to the test and was amazed by the reaction. The more I listened, the more comfortable and communicative the other person became - which made me feel very good.
Practice total listening - you will be surprised by the results.

Viji.

Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one mother the wide world over."
